Cops will watch Craiglist deals in hopes of cutting crime

Columbia police went so far as to post a Facebook message to residents, urging them to do in-person Craigslist business at their station.
"The transaction can take place in our lobby," Brommer said. "They don't need to bring the merchandise inside."

Columbia's Jerome Ellis recalled as one of the county's greatest athletes

When Jerome Ellis died of cancer earlier this year at age 66, he had long since left his athletic career behind.
But his tremendous accomplishments on the track, the basketball court and the football field at Columbia High School in the mid-1960s still live vividly in the minds of those who remember him.

What I saw recently

A batmobile speeding out of frame

 At the trail services building

 Buggy

Skating - in defiance of the edicts!

 This one

and this one (?)

 Complaint on Ironville Pike

 Heading back to the station

 Another unattended circular saw

 Soggy phone books

 Time for a bath

 In a private puddle

 All alone

 Well, that didn't pan out!

 Police

 and citizenry

 Lunar eclipse

 Patient passenger

 Stuck in time

 Sounding off

 Bypass construction

So why not convert this abandoned lot at 2nd & Bridge for parking?

 Under roof at Columbia Plaza

 And up on the rooftop

These signs have been popping up all over.

Must be time to fill the coffers.

An accident involving these two vehicles occurred this afternoon on Prospect Road, near Route 30.

And last but not least . . .
I guess he wants to be noticed.
