Borough road crews were cleaning streets today.  Salt, trash, and other debris have accumulated after a long and trying winter. At last night's borough council meeting of the whole, Borough Manager Ron Miller said that 300 tons of "anti-skid" was applied to the town's roads this season, and that it will take a few weeks to remove it all.  He asked residents to bear with crews as they work to tidy things up.

An accident involving two vehicles occurred today on Route 462 near the entrance to the Columbia Plaza.

Installation continued today on the cell tower at 1020 Blunston Street . . .   Note the two workmen pictured above. It's a heckuva climb, but someone's gotta do it.

Installation of the Verizon cell tower is underway at 1020 Blunston Street.  Revenue from the tower will be used to fund various borough projects.

The entrance ramp to Route 30 (heading east) will be closed Sunday night (3-22,23-15) . . .
