Ranae Tibbens of Chiques Rock Outfitters (in fluorescent green shirt) helps the campers debark from canoes and kayaks.
Now the fun part - lugging the boats up the steps.
Ranae leads the way.
This one's a little lighter.
Voyage over, the intrepid campers walk through the park to their waiting bus.

thanks for the great pics! i'm still sad over the fact that the bowling alley is gone forever....
it's awesome that the site won't stand empty-but it's a shame that someone who has the means doesn't rebuild the bowling alley :(
and, a movie theatre would be great too!!! i see the old drive in is for sale again....wouldn't it be awesome if someone bought it and built a movie theatre !!!!!!!!!
The bowling alley has been a mainstay for as long as I can remember (and longer!). It will be missed.
The drive-in won't be coming back either. Some people will never know what it was like to see a movie on the big screen - in the open air!
Cole these pictures are amazing and capture a positive side of a beautiful river! Keep up the good work! Carmen S.
Thanks. Glad you like 'em.
