The rise in ammunition sales is impacting the purchasing time for bullets.
This could possibly slow down police departments from getting ammo in a timely fashion.
What's happened is the huge rise in ammo purchases by civilians is creating a backlog for groups like police departments who need constantly refilled stock.

Students' essay contest focuses on inspiration; Columbia is included - LancasterOnline
Sen. Mike Brubaker is challenging local students to write an essay about a person who has inspired them. Students are encouraged to submit an essay of 500 words or fewer describing how an individual has influenced them in a positive way to accomplish their goals.
