A vehicle accident with entrapment occurred this afternoon when a car crashed into the front porch of a residence at 901 Park Avenue. Emergency crews cut off the top of the car to free the three occupants, who were then taken by ambulance to Lancaster General Hospital.

Lancaster Online incorrectly reported the address for this accident. It was not 42 South Ninth Street, it was on the corner of Park Avenue and South Ninth Streets. The house that was hit was 901 Park Avenue. This is clearly visible in your photos Cole.
Right, and that's the way I reported it. I nailed it. They missed it.
to Lancaster Newspapers Columbia is all the same - just pick an address - and if it is anything at all bad - blow it up and make it a big headline

It was dispatched as south Ninth street on county radio.
Hence the newspaper thing.

I think this is the 2nd time a car hit this porch this season. Last week a car hit a tree near the same place. Cars travel well over the speed limit on 9th St.
Has anyone heard what caused the accident or how the occupants of the crash are doing?
I didn't hear what caused it. I can't help wondering if texting was a factor.
