Friday the 18th in Scenic Columbia

Bart Simpson at Columbia River Park . . .

********************************

A fish out of water?

A bird on a wire?

Evidence of an impending car show . . .

Some of the cars will be parked in the Locust Street lot, and this is what visitors will see.
😖

It's the Eberly Myers property at the bottom of Locust Street.

They'll see this, too. By the way, when are we getting our sidewalk back? It's been like this for about 4 years now.

The former Northwest Bank, now becoming apartments and a bridal shop.
Oh well, onward and upward.

The former Wells Fargo Bank, now an empty building. Now there's only one bank left within borough limits.
Onward and upward?

This is the plot of land that the borough should have purchased (between Bridge Street and the Veterans Memorial Bridge). It has high visibility and would be an excellent location for businesses to grow.

The bridge inspectors were at it again today. The guy in the bucket was hammering on the bridge, causing small chunks of concrete to fall on the road below. The other guy was sweeping up.

Looks like our bridge is in bad shape.

A dilemma:
A car was parked in a handicapped space in the middle section at River Park.

The car displayed a handicapped placard in the window, but didn't have a trailer.
Ticket or no?
