Hemp has many uses, as can be seen here.

 Hempzels formerly operated out of a building on the 900 block of Manor Street.

Over 100 people turn out to remember two residents whose lives were lost in today's house fire

Over 100 people attended this evening's candlelight vigil on South 2nd Street to remember Cami Jo Combs and her daughter Callie whose lives were lost in a house fire there this morning.

Starview Brews hoping for March opening in downtown Columbia


Work is continuing on Starview Brews in Columbia, which is hoping to open in March.
Manager and owner Mike Knaub said it has been taking longer than expected to get the brewery ready, but he now hopes to begin beer production by the end of January.
