Columbia Borough Council again accused of violating Pennsylvania's Sunshine Act | Local News | lancasteronline.com


Columbia Borough Council is again facing accusations of violating the state's open meetings law.
The allegations come after council voted Tuesday night to award a contract for human resources consulting to a Mifflin County firm.
The previous allegations were made last December and resulted in a warning from the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office.

Communities Celebrate Designation of Susquehanna NHA (U.S. National Park Service)

Celebration at Columbia Crossing last Friday 

Susquehanna NHA is one of six new NHAs designated by Congress and signed into law in March 2019. It covers all of York and Lancaster counties, with the Susquehanna River at its heart. The designation reflects the nationally significant history of the region, including its American Indian heritage and its role as the country's temporary capital during the American Revolution.
