Santa Claus comes to town - Part 2 - Saturday Morning


Santa Claus came to town Saturday morning escorted by first responders from several local departments in a parade that started at the Fire Department building on Manor Street.  After arriving at the Columbia Library, Santa greeted the waiting crowd of children and adults and then entered the building to hear Christmas wishes from children.


















































The parade was a joint effort of Columbia Borough Protective Services: Columbia EMS, Columbia Borough Fire Department, and Columbia Borough Police.

Santa Claus (aka Bob Mimnall) came to town Friday night. The inimitable Claus stopped by the fire hall - to the delight of bingo players and others.

Healthy Columbia serves over 240 attendees at free pancake breaksfast


Healthy Columbia, a community-driven initiative of CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health, recently served more than 240 members of the Columbia community at a free pancake breakfast featuring Santa and children’s activities in celebration of the holiday season. Healthy Columbia is dedicated to providing and coordinating services and the investments necessary to create a thriving community in Columbia Borough and the annual pancake breakfast is just one of the many ways the initiative supports the local community throughout the year. Beards for Brothers helps local officer with Stage 4 cancer | WPMT FOX43

Officers from 17 police departments in Lancaster County, along with other first responders and businesses, took part in "No Shave November."

This year, raising nearly $13,000.
