Columbia's National Watch & Clock Museum winds 90 clocks weekly

This weekend, Pennsylvanians will turn their clocks forward an hour as Daylight Saving Time begins, but imagine having to set your clocks every week. At the National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia, Lancaster County, gallery attendant Richard Pazar and his colleague wind around 90 clocks every Wednesday.

Columbia's three losses this season — against PIAA qualifiers Lancaster Catholic, Linden Hall and MCA — were by a combined 20 points, and the Tide put an L-L League section gold championship trophy in the case for the first time since 1997 and went to the league semifinals.

"These are great memories," Columbia coach Karl Kreiser said. "They're upset right now. But these are great memories."

Columbia girls put pedal to the metal, race past Penn Treaty in PIAA Class 2A state-playoff opener

Brie Droege scored 20 of her 28 points in the first half, Brooke Droege scored 16 of her 20 points in the game's first 16 minutes, and Columbia walloped the Wolves 73-27 in a PIAA Class 2A first-round clash in the shadow of Philadelphia's skyscrapers at Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School.
