Missing Juvenile | Columbia Borough Police Department


The Columbia Borough Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 14 year old female named Kiara Prophete. She was possibly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black flip flops and either jeans or pajama pants.


If anyone has seen the pictured female they are asked to call the Columbia Borough Police at 717-684-7735 or submit a tip below. 

She went missing sometime overnight between July 22nd and July 23rd. Kiara is approx. 5'1" and 115lbs.

THEFT OF ARTWORK - 900 BLOCK OF PLANE STREET | Columbia Borough Police Department

On 7/19/19 at approximately 8:10 pm the Columbia Borough Police Department was dispatched to the Wagon Werks Apartments in the 900 Block of Plane Street for the theft of a framed 4ft by 3ft pen and ink drawing of Mt. McKinley.  The resident left the piece of artwork in the hallway unattended for a short time but when he got back it was missing.

Columbia's National Night Out to be held August 6

The Columbia Borough Police Department will host its seventh annual National Night Out (NNO) event from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Glatfelter Field, 1249 Lancaster Ave., Columbia. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be postponed to Tuesday, Aug. 13.

Fundraiser benefitting Columbia police officer | WPMT FOX43

MARIETTA, Pa. - Community members and fellow law enforcement held a fundraiser in honor of a Columbia police officer who is in need of a helping hand.

Officer Daniel Castellanos was involved in a serious motorcycle accident on his way to work back in June, and suffered several major injuries. He joined the department a year ago.

The fundraiser was held at Nick's Bistro.
