Accompanied by a 1948 American LaFrance fire truck, a newly restored 1917 LaFrance was out for a test drive Friday (5/29/26) morning along the parade route for the upcoming fireman's parade scheduled for Saturday, June 6th.

The river was a foot above normal on Thursday, but it seemed higher.

This photo was taken Sunday morning. The black car in the front was parked in a "handicapped" space but didn't show a handicapped placard or license plate. The other two were parked in spaces designated "official business only." No official business on Sundays? What about other police departments in the case of a manhunt or emergency?
Don't do any of these things at Columbia River Park, but do enjoy the park.
