According to Scott Ryno, the Fire Chief of Columbia Borough, first responders found fire on the first and second floors of one home. The neighboring home also suffered damage.
Initially, there were concerns that some residents might still be inside the houses, but everyone had already evacuated. No one was injured during the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and a Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal will lead the investigation.
