Amid Pennsylvania minimum wage debate, a push to boost rate of $2.83 an hour for tipped workers

One would immediately lift the minimum wage to $12 an hour, gradually increase it to $15 and eliminate the tipped minimum wage entirely. The other is a more modest proposal that tackles the tipped minimum wage separately, bringing it to 70% of the state minimum wage by 2022.
