  6. wake up people. with close to 1,000 rental properties (not units) in this small Boro... it can't surprise you that we are a Poverty town. The Borough MUST find a way to get rid of at the very least HALF of the number of rental properties in the Boro. Create a tax relief program or something. The hardworking taxpaying middle class is a minority and can NOT afford this craziness. It's outrageous. STOP THE RENTALS. plus the rentals use up all the police dept hours on domestics, drugs and unacceptable behavior. Now I ask "how hard is it?"

    1. Why so hard on rentals, they pay taxes, they buy in Columbia?? Now the taxes used on private things , the money pit, unneeded lites on 462, over paid manager on the borough ( inexperienced) , how about whats with the hole in the ground on locust. Don't beat the rental they contribute to the town.

    2. RENTALS HAVE NOTHING TO DUE WITH THE IGERANT 7 AND BOROUGH SO CALLED MANAGERS SPENDING.

  7. Properties pay taxes , same if owner occuplied or rental , with the taxes people will not buy them to live in , be glad they are not abandoned properties , but with the taxes here there will not be a race to buy in Columbia, not to mention the things that our borough is doing. getting sued, expanding the money pit, inexperienced management, favortism, this goes on and on.

  8. $47,000 is poor? I support 5 people in that income. Whatever, money isn't everything! I want out but it's not because I'm poor.
