Well you're making the young couple at Cloverton Drive fix their drainage problem. No one from the borough would help them and they presented evidence as to why they should. The borough marched out and fixed Grinnell Avenue when initially that was said to be a private property owner's problem... borough fixed it.
Ok how does Columbia do there own food inspections? State does this for free. Helm doesn't publish any thing and we all know that all of these places don't pass a state inspection. The boro wants control but doesn't let people know anything. With the inspections in lnp ,they let comsumers know whats going on in these business .
Is this Borough owned property or are we fixing private property again?
ReplyDeleteI bet it is where the stream was connected to the storm sewer system.
ReplyDeleteThe problem occured due to a columbia borough responsiblity, with a broke pipe to an inlet, i believe
ReplyDeletereally???? wth? you should be grateful they are fixing it. maybe they should start having the property owners fix their own stuff.

DeleteYes, not quite as much. Looks like the project isn't finished yet.
DeleteI was told another 25 thousand dollars! tax payer money!!
DeleteWhere is the transparent boro they should make these things open to tax payers.
DeleteBoro management needs to be open , no more back door things. enough is enough.
Deletedo your homework. educate yourself. ask questions. read. there's a reason.
ReplyDeleteTell us , this is the BIG problem with the boro , they want to run it like Germany pre war.
DeleteDealing with Columbia boro is like dealing with Hitler. They say do as we say NOT as we do.

ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if Columbia Borough sold the trolley?
ReplyDeleteThe borough still has the trolley, but there is no money budgeted to run it in 2019.
DeleteThank you!
DeleteSell it to the private company that wants parking so they can shuttle people to existing lots.
