Am I seeing things or does 9c. say the Bigler's want NOT to pay the borough $597.28? They had TWO properties condemned within a couple weeks of each other, both in June 2015. What about the businesses that lost money due to the Bigler's negligence? The 200 block was shut down...anybody remember that? If council oks this one, that's a sucker punch to the taxpayers. What a joke. Look at all the people they disrupted by not maintaining their buildings. Fire department personnel, businesses, tenants, traffic detours, and they don't want to pay $597.28? They held Columbia hostage and now Columbia caves in to them. Unbelievable!
Did anyone notice 17C on the agenda for Monday? After all the bending over backwards for the Trust, and giving them an extra year, they are bailing on the market.
Stop playing games with him. He should pay up and fix his eyesotrs up. Check all his properties and see if he followed all the conditions of zoning approvals, I question his building at 3rd and Union.
Greenya on the police pension board. He has an active lawsuit against the borough regarding his own pension. Would this be a conflict? Not sure what he duties would be on this board.
What would the boro officials do if all the residents that are fixing their properties up would say the heck with it. The boro does nothing to Bigler about Locust St.,so why should we. Come on officials, go after him and start making him to work on it. It is almost a year.
I see in today's paper, that the property at 208-210 Locust St.is being proposed as a blighted property. This is coming before the Lancaster County Planning Comm. on May 9.

ReplyDeleteThe agenda I printed this morning (Monday May9) from the Borough's site does not have an item 17c, only 17a and 17b.
DeleteI also looked back and clearly 17c has been dropped for some reason.

ReplyDeleteI didn't think he lived within the borough, does he?
DeleteHe always has and still does live within the borough.
