Columbia sees real estate value decline



According to the Lancaster County Assessment Office, Columbia was among four boroughs in which the assessed value of taxable real estate declined slightly. The others are Millersville, Denver and Ephrata. Columbia experienced a decline of 1.46% ($-5,231,500).

  1. Values declined more than slightly since the last assessment in Cola. Any homeowner that files an appeal at the county courthouse would probably see a 30% decrease in their taxes if they haven't been assessed since the last asessment

    The codes have addressed it the police have also done their duties.
    All I can say is the slick get slicker!!

  4. Thinking outside the box, slum lord properties drag us down, but so do PARENTS THAT CAN'T CONTROL THEIR CHILDREN, OR JUST DON'T CARE.
    Many renters are better residents than Property Owners.
    Teach your children RESPECT!
