  2. Read the link above:

"This week as part of my “Jobs That Pay” initiative, I signed an executive order that ensures all commonwealth employees and employees of organizations that receive state contracts will be paid no less than $10.15 an hour.

    ...

I am also calling on Pennsylvania’s House and Senate to pass legislation to raise Pennsylvania’s minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.15 per hour, while tying it to inflation to maintain its purchasing power over time."

    1. That's right. State employees are getting a raise, and he's also calling for a minimum wage increase for Pennsylvania. I added the word "also" to the caption, for clarity.

    2. Of course, the Republican-controlled legislature will oppose the minimum wage increase.

  3. I'm semi-retired, as some say, and working harder at a job for $9.85/hour than my job I had at nearly $25.00/hour. I get no official break time and barely enough time to eat lunch. A real lesson for me. People that are earning poverty level wages are busting their butts and deserve much more money. The "higher-ups" really do have a cake walk.

  4. Yeah but all the Republican politicians have to do is recite scripture during campaigning & the voters let them slide on everything else.
