It means,,, COLUMBIA BORO HAS SOME SERIOS PROBLEMS.........
ReplyDeleteDepends, Cole, on the definition that's used. Unfortunately, government has the consistency of being inconsistent, even in defining "homelessness."
ReplyDeleteThe Department of Education uses this: http://www.education.pa.gov/Documents/K-12/Homeless%20Education/ECYEH%20General%20Guide.pdf
Two other departments, US Department of Health and Human Services and the US Department of Housing & Urban Development, each uses their own separate ones: https://www.nhchc.org/faq/official-definition-homelessness/
Even if they aren't homeless, alot of them are living in places that aren't fit to live in
ReplyDeleteOh there are displaced children, it's not their fault.
ReplyDeleteIt's the parents!!! But who, where are the actual blood parents located?
i believe the problem is MUCH bigger than this in all reality. such a sin. where are the social services? there are THOUSANDS ILLEGALLY ON WELFARE AND FOOD STAMPS, FREE EVERYTHING.....when the majority aren't using it as it was meant to be: ASSISTANCE FOR EMERGENCIES.....NOT as a way of life. Way too many people take advantage of the broken system and are just too ignorant, too lazy to get a J O B...and on top of that, they think the world actually OWES them all this. it's more than BS.
