Wish ghost tour would have included the 100 Blick of historic south second... This block is loaded with history, ghouls, ghosts, freaks, and stalkers....
That smacks of a violation of a basic right to know under the Sunshine Act. Not surprising though that the lack of transparency and "back door" meetings happen ... wonder which mayor was the elected official who attended?
Fun time! Especially enjoyed the dungeon tour.
ReplyDeleteThe event Co ordinators are hard and dedicated workers..

Another nice event for Columbia. Thanks to all who made this possible.
ReplyDeleteI was told that Columbia is merging with Hempfield and the Columbia High School is going to be an Arts School!! Any truth in this Cole??
ReplyDeleteHadn't heard that. I'd be surprised if it were true.
DeleteIt is true, if you talk to tom s. he will tell you the school is BROKE!
DeleteSources have told me that might be true.
DeleteI wish the information about the schools financial condition was out in public. The taxpayers have a right to know this.
DeleteHmmmm If we lose the school, does that mean we don't have to pay for it anymore?
DeleteColumbia needs a boro manager, it was in the news paper.
ReplyDeleteThat's correct.
DeleteWhere do all.these people get there information about the schools this town always gets alot of rumors going around Hempfield does not want us.
ReplyDeletethey dont have a choice, we are broke! Go to the next school meeting and you will find out!! Have a good day!!
DeleteTom S should not be talking about the money part of the school district when he is on the school board .
ReplyDeleteWhats the difference, his wife is a teacher at the school!!
DeleteWe are absolutely broke! I spoke to one of the elected official who attended a private school board meeting 5 months ago.
ReplyDelete"Private school board meeting?"

It was 4 school board members and 4 "elected" officials, (3 representatives and one senator). No Mayor.
