Columbia school board president Tom Strickler told LNP last month that the district would start seeking loan proposals in September. That process in itself is an extra human resources burden, Strickler said. "We in Columbia don't have the extra resources for anything."

Yeah think outside the box politicians. Rather make the hard decisions. It's not a funding issue, it's a spending issue. PA is in the top 10 in the nation for spending per pupil. We just have too many school districts which relates to too much spending on administration instead of on the kids. Columbia School District is one of the worst 20+ million budget to graduate about 70 kids a year.
