Thank you to all the wonderful families that attended our first"Movie Under the Stars"!! We exceeded our first time expectation with approximately 80 neighbors by the time the sun went down and The NeverEnding Story began!! See you next time at the movies!!
Thanks to the 80+ or so people who showed for last night’s movie. Had a great time and it was really nice seeing all of the kids that were there with their families. Hope this event keep on going. I know I enjoyed spending the evening with my granddaughter and her parents. I also realize that the usual naysayers of Columbia will comment that only 80 showed up, but if those 80 invite 1 friend to come next time, then it won’t take long for this event to blossom. Great POSITIVE newsworthy event from Columbia! Kelly Murphy
So many people on here complaining there's nothing for the kids to do and 80 people show up in a town of 10,000 and was free at that. Well we had a good time there and hope it continues. Sunset and bridge in background was assume.
Amen to this comment. This is the best post I have ever seen on this site. Good sound advice; lets hope Columbians wake up to this. This is the real problem with 9p percent of issues in this town. Take person responsibility for yourself and for your family.
Years ago I never could have foreseen an event like this at riverpark. This is great! Thanks to those that organized and made it happen.
ReplyDeleteTo bad there were not more people there.
