  1. Why is the Mayor "thrilled"??????
Is he an IBS partner too? Anyone can clearly see this is lining the pockets of two men, basically in the end a private business deal, funded by taxpayer dollars.

    1. I was wondering about that, too.
This monster of a boondoggle of a "project" isn't dead yet. Break out the wooden stakes and silver bullets.

    1. Yes, it should be. If this turkey of an idea is any indication, then we can't trust the powers-that-be with our money.

  3. Is it a conflict of interest for a person serving on CEDC to also partner in business with a deal such as this one? In other words, should there be financial gain for this position?

  4. are you just realizing that you can't trust the powers to be with OUR money???? let's NOT forget ALL the issues with IBS while creating THE. WHY doesn't the Boro sell it the Government NOT to IBS. No need for a middle man to take thousands and thousands of our tax dollars.

  5. I think someone did suggest that the borough buy the building and then submit a bid directly for the call center. That would avoid a middle man and keep the taxpayer money where it should be.
