HARRISBURG, Pa – School property taxes would be lower in every district in Pennsylvania under legislation that passed the House today by a vote of 105-86, House Majority Leader Dave Reed (R-Indiana) said.

  1. This will not cure the problem of overspending. Pa taxpayers already pay more money per student than most other states. The legislature needs to reduce the cost of administration by consolidating school districtics. These new taxes they are imposing just makes us less competitive with other states, & the money still doesn't get to educating the children.
