Was it vandalism?

Seen today . . .
One of the recently planted arborvitae trees at the Visitors Center at Columbia River Park has been pulled out of the soil, revealing the root ball.

The refractor lens on one of the new bridge lights is broken.
Note the chipped paint and indentations on the top rim.

This is the opposite side of the same light.
It's located on the Columbia side, above the sidewalk.

  3. To the sarcastic responder, since the bridge is technically in West Hempfield, there are no cameras here. I suggest that all citizens keep there eyes open for any tree damage as we experienced the same issues when we planted new bushes in the memorial garden of our Columbia church. The second commenter is correct, it is too bad that people don't have better things to do then going around damaging things. As (unfortunately) expected, it didn't take the a-holes that live in the area too long to damage these lights.
