Yeah right, tell me another story. And the $treet $weeper is for cleaning streets every week (at least), and not for giving out $10 tickets? And we need to increase meter prices again because there's no parking for the multitudes of stores in downtown Columbia?
But it's all ok - because it is "for the children". Excuse me while I vomit.
It's all about how to raise the fees (taxes). This is NOT a safety issue.

Yes, this is the same situation as the scales and van the police bought several years ago. The mayor said it would increase revenue. What a joke!
