the very first thing they do is DON'T REPLACE the Superintendant....WE taxpayers can NOT afford this bs...we are losing our homes everyday, and some of us our jobs...but you don't care-you just raise taxes EVERY YEAR....this tiny Boro has WAY TOO MANY superintendants...or whatever you call them. Principals, Assistant Principals, etc... WE CAN NOT AFFORD ONE MORE PENNY IN TAXES !!!! clean house and get rid of the extra half dozen mgmt positions.
Come on...really? Taxes in my pay went up. Food prices are threw the roof. As they said above about the superintendents for the size of Columbia you only need one. Columbia is not that big! Here is a thought join forces with Hempfield! This is uncalled for.
amen. i never thought i'd be one of those who said join with West Hempfield-but the time has come-we can NOT afford anymore of this bs...they don't want us either, but maybe if you join forces, it will be cheaper for the taxpayers. we do not need to fill the superintendant position and if any of the residents let that happen they need their head examined. we all heard the rumer-who thinks they'll move right into this $120,000.00 or more a year job. NO.NOT INTERESTED IN FILLING THE POSITION
It's no rumor, he stacked the board with hand picked members who will vote for Tom Strickler. Remember, he lost a business via bankruptcy. Fyi...his wife is on the payroll too!!
the residents of the Boro MUST stand their ground and DEMAND the schoold district clean house and NOT replace the superintendant. this is ridiculous! this word needs to get out to ALL our residents.
What will it take to get citizens to come to the school board meetings and speak out? They seem to find enough interest to go to council meetings about petty market house issues. These school board issues are costing us thousands of dollars and it will continue to escalate if we don't come together and speak out.
Amen to that. we need to educate our taxpaying residents! did u read todays headlines? another superintendant is retiring from elementary school and strickler already stated about starting the process to replace her..............NO WAY. WE NEED TO STAND TOGETHER, ATTEND SCHOOL BOARD MTGS AND DEMAND THEY STOP THEIR BLATANT WASTE OF OUR MONEY.....what the helll don't they understand??? we can NOT afford this. if things keep going on this way, columbia WILL be a ghost town within 5 years. maybe sooner. its absolutely ridiculous. strickler needs to go. now.
yep, i agree too. the taxes are killing us-every day....losing our homes, our cars, our insurance, our jobs. and the powers that be JUST DON'T GET IT......I GUESS THEY MAKE TOO MUCH MONEY....and are out of touch with REALITY. this IS reality, what the majority of us live with/in.
this is positively ridiculous. we can NOT afford it. you people need to learn to do without. hell, i can't afford to pay my bills now as it is. and you spend, spend spend like theres no tomorrow. maybe you can afford it, but the average joe homeowner can NOT.
