A meeting of the Columbia Borough Council will be held on Monday, December 10 at 7 p.m. at the Borough Office, 308 Locust Street.
Several commenters to this blog have questioned the council's recent decision to hire a Sewer Enforcement Officer at an annual salary of $45,000 to inspect 60 in-ground tanks, when cheaper options are available.
This meeting will provide an opportunity for concerned citizens to have these questions answered.
thanks cole for posting this! you know it would be awesome if we couldget some interested taxpaying residents to attend. and ask questions. $45,000 for a SEO for 60 in ground tanks in a boro of 10,400 + doesn't add up. please attend.
ReplyDeletei agree....the elected councilpersons are NOT acting in the BEST interests of the majority of homeowners in this Borough.
ReplyDeleteWe MUST hold them accountable. If they were, they would NEVER EVER approve the hiring of an SEO for 60 in ground tanks. Its ridiculous.
