Columbia Borough School District officials passed a preliminary budget Thursday at their committee of the whole meeting.
Passing the $21.7 million spending plan in February was necessary for the district to be eligible for exceptions that would allow it to increase taxes above the 2.5 percent index, board President Tom Strickler said in an interview in January.
Tom Strickler, aka the "bush wacker". Run his name on the Lancaster Prothonotary web site. He has no respect for other people's property. This is the same guy who submitted his resume for the Superintendent position while still retaining his position as school board president.
