According to the last paragraph of the LNP article, his identity WAS released, but apparently LNP isn't telling anyone. Very poor article, no details about which direction he was walking or if the car stopped, not even an update regarding details.

LNP just corrected the last paragraph, now stating his identity was NOT released! They need to make up their mind and get the story straight.

Perhaps the case is similar to the lady who got hit in Columbia on 3rd and Locust.
See they wouldn't release details in that case either cept for the victim name who was known around town as "sis" a poor old lady who the police for reasons of their own as well as News refused to state who ran her over. One must wonder why just saying people have the right to know right? But It's obvious that right to know is at their discretion right???
